NERF N-STRIKE ELITE TVC

The ad is finished and was aired yesterday (Sunday 9:00am NZ time) The only problem is that cos we work with SD footage, the resolution on Youtube is 480p max. This will play for the entirety of April.

Nerf Elite Commercial

Hey guys! Raiden here! (pronounced rye-din from MGS)

So I work for this TV company called Whitebait TV in Christchurch, New Zealand (as stipulated in my Blogger profile) on a kids TV show called What Now? and have been working on a new Nerf promo for our country that will hit our screens in the month of April.

We call these "Monthly Mayhem" promos and these are usually are heavier workloads. Anywho, we have pretty much completed it and waiting on sign-off from Hasbro US for the green light. We usually did full motion graphics work for promos but shot this one ourselves in 3 hours and limited blasters (we had prizes from Hasbro but were not allowed to unbox them) and it was quite late notice so couldn't get all my Elite stuff.

Every week of April, some lucky kid will win a Stockade and some luckier kid/s will win 6 blasters! (Retal/Ramp/Hail/Strong/Stock/Firestrike) and loads of Elite darts.

I can say we made a 3D dart but that's all I can show until it airs.

Sorry for the buzzkill.

G-FUEL: The New Energy Drink

I don't know about you guys but when it comes to Nerfin' I akshool (actually) go hard and THAT peoples takes alot outta ya. You already know this so you don't need tah hear it twice.
NC members tend to bring fizzy (soda) and those nasty energy drinks. I say nasty cos they are. They akshool don't do anything.

For a while now, I've been using G-Fuel to give me sustenance before and during a skirmish and you really do feel a difference. G-Fuel was developed by gamers for gamers according to their site.

It kicks in when ya need it most and I must say I've been impressed thus far. It must be taken in moderation though. One serving every 6-7 hours so I drink half 2 hours beforehand and the rest halfway through our 5-6 hour battles.

Check them out on facebook if you're interested! Let me know what you guys use!

HERE WE GO!

Kia Ora. Kia Orana. Talofa Lava. Malo E Lelei and greetings to all you Nerfers out there from the other side of the world. The name is Ben but you can call me Raiden. I'm not sure how well i'll do with blogging but thought i'd try it out and see where it takes me. Somewhere I hope.

There really isn't a Nerf scene here in NZ as such but word does get it around if the cards are played right. All I can say is the crew that what we have with Nerf Canterbury (or NC) is a good thing. Consistent numbers every week, a bond and unity with one another and a desire to see how far we can go with Nerf as a whole.

I became hooked on Nerf in 2007. I was at an Armageddon Expo (one of those cosplay things) here in Christchurch and entered the Kamehameha Competition dressed up as Ryu from Street Fighter. Straight to the pont, I won the comp and got given a Nintendo Wii. The game it came with was The Nerf N-Strike game. I saw . I played. I enjoyed.

Jump a few years later, I am now successfully running Nerf Canterbury to:

- Jump start a club
- Meet new people

- Exchange darts

Anywho, before things get outta hand i'll stop right here for now and will think on what to blog for the week, Again, i'm quite new to the bloggin thing so please say Kia Ora. Sweet as bro!
